The egg.
It was a sunny Saturday morning.
Zuzanna woke up earlier than anyone else in the house, rushed downstairs to turn the television on. She loved the time when everyone was sleeping, and she could enjoy her favourite Disney show. She poured herself a glass of mineral water, took a soft blanket and lay down on the sofa with the remote in her hand. Her little kitten jumped up the sofa and curled right next to her.
Mum will wake up soon – she thought, while checking the time. It was fifteen past eight, and she had already started feeling hungry. Zuzanna was an eight-year-old girl, she knew how to read the clock.
She watched one episode of the cartoon, when she started hearing someone stomping upstairs.
-Hey baby! - She heard her mom’s voice from the stairs. - What would you like for breakfast? - mom asked.
-I would like some banana porridge, please. - Zuzanna replied.
She saw her mom walking to the kitchen, heard her switching on the coffee machine and pouring cat food into the bowl. Cat jumped and ran to the kitchen. A couple minutes later the porridge was ready. Zuzanna loved banana porridge made by mom.
Dad must have smelt the coffee, he walked down the stairs very quickly.
- Good morning – dad said. - what time do you need to be at the station?
- Good morning – mom replied. The train is due at ten twenty. Ten o’clock would be fine.
- Where are we going? - Zuzanna rushed to the kitchen with curiosity.
- We're going to Amelia’s birthday party, don’t you remember? - said mum.
- Oh yes! I forgot it’s today. I need to pack!
- Pack your toothbrush and pyjamas. We’re staying in London overnight - stated mum.
Zuzanna ran upstairs to brush her teeth, dress and pack for the trip. She loved trains, London, and her little cousin Amelia. She was very excited about Amelia’s birthday party and about the presents she would be able to play with, but most of all she was excited about the secret she overheard the other day.
Good you have started this but I would write these on Google docs and add links to your blog as you do not want the whole book as blog posts
