Today we are creating portfolio introduction page with the concept of my project on photoshop. I will begin by creating a blank canvas to work on. I did this by opening Photoshop, I clicked on 'New file' and this opened a dialogue box. In a box I clicked on 'print' in the top menu and chose A3. I then checked if the resolution was 300ppi. This creates a high quality resolution. Then I chose the orientation as 'landscape' as I am doing an content article. I customed background color as slightly of white which I think will work for my portfolio page.
I then added a picture from unsplash.com by downloading it to the computer and opening in Photoshop. The I copied the picture and pasted it on to the background. Then I used the 'move' tool in the top of the left hand menu and then I clicked on show transform controls in the top menu. Then I could move and enlarge the image so that it worked on the page. I decided to enlarge the photograph to work as a background and changed a opacity
Next I have added a title of my content article and my name in left top corner. To do that I've clicked on the letter 'T' in the left side menu and clicked in the area I wanted my title to appear. I've changed font style to Arial Rounded MT and size to 60 pts for the title and 30 pts for my name.
Later I started describing my project and researching more in the cat owners and millennials subject.
I've added a text using a text tool from left hand side menu. I have used Arial Rounded MT font in a size of 18 pts.
